Russ has extensive experience in consulting and technology research. He co‑leads Partners in Performance’s Oil and Gas Practice, a role he has held for the past 10 years. Russ has led numerous performance improvement engagements around the world in upstream oil and gas exploration and production and downstream refining petrochemicals.

Before joining Partners in Performance, Russ was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, Research Director at Forrester Research, and helped build several start‑ups. He has served clients across Australasia, North America, and Europe.

Russ is passionate about helping his clients find answers to critical business challenges: How do we deliver real value? How do we innovate? And, how do we do both faster and more productively? He believes high performance is ultimately about making sure you have the right people, who make the right decisions at the right times with the right information and then ensuring the correct follow through and accountabilities.
